Website Launch Press Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MAY 23, 2006

Announcing Sleevin Records, the hottest new break beat label in San Francisco's cutting edge music and underground dance scene. Sleevin founder and producer Simon Littlewood describes Sleevin as "DIRTY, HEAVY, DISCO ROCK!" Download music, purchase vinyl and check out upcoming events at www.sleevin.com.

Sleevin is doing their best to find and promote the best break beat producers in the Bay Area and showcase their styles to the world. "SF artists are some of the most cutting edge, constantly pushing the limits of producing, engineering, and turntablism in the US. This is the new underground -- experimental techniques through new technology allow Sleevin artists to create a sound that has never been heard before," said founder and artist Simon Littlewood.

Don't miss the Sleevin Records website launch party on Friday May 26th at Anu on 6th Street between Market & Mission in downtown San Francisco. The Sleevin crew will rock the house all night long with the finest in "DIRTY, HEAVY, DISCO ROCK" and "CRACK HOUSE."

Sleevin Records artists consist of some of the most unique sounds offered on vinyl. With Goldilox's birth of "Crack House" to Mancub's "Bloc Party theme for the dance floor" these fresh beats will keep you rocking 'till your knees knock and your body buckles! This is a party to hydrate for...

The first EP "Who Stole the Soul?" released in January 2006 has been widely accepted to critical acclaim by some of the industry's best. Who's got it in their record box? Lee Coombs, Paranoid Jack and DJ Icey, to name but a few. Two more releases are scheduled for early summer 2006 including the much anticipated release of "Dirty Bizness" featuring Compression resident vocalist Colonel MC and produced by SIMO and B. Smiley. Pre-release feedback has been overwhelming with some of the most influential names clamoring for their copy and remix opportunities.
